Thank you for seeing your positives here. You've had a year full of all sorts of ups and downs. I am so happy you can recognize your strengths and understand that you are on a journey. I think the final destination is still to be decided, but I do think you are on the proper path.

Well, even when I wrote my first harvest post last year, it wasn't all bad. It was, in fact, a deliberate effort on my part to see the good with the bad. But, yeah, I have come a long way since then.
As to the downsides... we all screw up, hon. Yes, you are not guiltless in regards to the state of your marriage, but that does not mean the responsibility is yours alone.
Oh, I am well aware of this. Still, this is an accounting of my harvest, not hers. Also, I do not ever want to fall back into the habit of pointing fingers and assigning blame, nor do I wish to get into the habit of not owning up to my own failings.

Well, at the start of the year, my budget projections showed that I would have enough extra to actually start saving money. Then real life happened. What I said is meant to be about the present... not the past. One of you is currently accepting responsibility for past mistakes and the other is not, and that is impacting *both* of your current experiences of even your solo lives. I think, however, that you are doing the very best thing possible; accepting what is, and letting go of the need to 'return fire'.
