In furtherance of my current Max Gladstone obsession, I'm reading "Bookburners" on Serial Box. It's an interesting concept - they're doing old-fashioned serial stories. Bleck, mudding...SO MUCH DUST. I'm okay with the drywalling process on walls...but I sure hate it on ceilings.

OMG, the dust is terrible. I pulled molding off of an archway, and at least I found drywall underneath, but it needed a lot of repair. I've never done outside corners before, and they're a pain. I have a bathroom ceiling that needs tape and mud, and I've been assiduously avoiding working on it.

I really like rounded drywall corners...but I don't think they could be made to work on an archway. I haven't seen the bendable kind in the rounded style. It'd probably be cool, though. :)
Yeah, time off work is great and useful...until you run out of money to do anything with. Sorry to hear you've been a victim of job instability...seems like a lot of jobs have been pretty unstable in the past few years. I hope a good one comes up for you. :)
