My City: new Stephen Poliakoff play

Tom Riley's name has been added to the cast list for the new play at the Almeida Theatre by Stephen Poliakoff. According to the website, Tom will play Richard in My City, which will run from 8th September 2011 until  5th November 2011. Tickets can be purchased on the Almeida website.

That's terrific news. Yay for Tom! I take it you'll be seeing the play several times? ;)

Have you any idea what Tom was doing out here in Los Angeles last week? I saw his tweets and was tempted to drive around the city looking for him. ;P

I would love to see it many times, but unfortunately I dont think I am going to be able to see it at all. Hugely disappointed. No idea what Tom was doing in LA, but hopefully good things will come of it.

Thanks for the nearly offer *looks over glasses*. Finances are the main trouble. I just paid nearly £200 for various theatre tickets. Have no money to buy more. I always try to see the website people as first priority and organise the rest of my trips around that. This is just such a shame. Then there are travel costs. I shall just spend the little I have on the website gifty thing.

If I win the lottery, perhaps I can buy tickets & pay for the travel!

I completely understand. If I was to win the lottery, I would buy a house in the UK and be able to go to all the plays I want to.. I can dream....
