New York

Saw Arcadia twice in previews when I was in New York. I was going to tell you all about the incredible weekend I had and how wonderful it all was, but subsequent, seemingly trivial events, have totally soured the memories...except for the run I did in Central Park. That was amazing!

You got to see it twice? Lucky! I'm seeing the play in a few weeks. :) I'm excited to see Tom live onstage.

I wanted to tell you that I finally saw the play this week, and it was breathtaking. I was a bit confused at times, but it all came together at the end. Such a well-written and wonderfully produced play.

I chatted very briefly with Tom after the performance, and he's lovely in person. I think he was surprised that I was familiar with his British TV work - me being an American, after all. ;)

I was thinking of you!! It is an amazing show isn't it? I loved it both nights I saw it. Tom is very lovely in person. So brave of you to go to the stage door. Did you get an autograph or photo too? Thank you for telling me xx

Yes, the show has so many layers and it does require some thinking to absorb it all. My brain was seriously working during the show! Haha. But I like plays that don't underestimate the audience's intelligence. I'm pretty sure I was the youngest person watching. The people all around me looked like pensioners. ;)

I know, it was quite brave of me to go to the stage door. I almost headed back to my hotel right after the show ended, but then I thought, 'When am I ever going to get another chance to meet Tom?' So glad I waited around to meet him. Yes, he signed my Playbill and took a photo with me. I told him I wouldn't put the photo on the Internet, though, because he said his face was orange. LOL. And I looked rather horrid too, as the wet weather made my hair look like a mess!

Good idea to keep it to yourself. Precious memories to keep xx Sadly I have no personal photos of or with Tom. And don't have a signed Playbill either.

We need to spread the word about how great it is, otherwise only the oldies will go there, and others will lose out. Post reviews and leave comments where you can xx
