Holland is pretty, Holland is nice... But what the heck they don't accept neither credit nor debit cards in stores?! Instead, they have some freakin' "banking pass", kind of debit card with a built-in microchip. They say, accepting credit cards is too expensive for them.
Luckily, I had some eurocash with me.
Shit.

Apparently, you are in a very small town. I'm visiting the Netherlands every year and haven't got any troubles with credit cards.

I think this is a reality of a small town, where a local supermarket with outrageous prices is a monopolist.
Can you imagine, the beef filet at 32 euros a kg?!!!
But I bought some cheap ground beef and fish on sale :)
And finally had some beer!
