And, er, where's the kraken in the first story? Is there a subtle reference that I'm missing? The body of water is there from which mossy tentacles could emerge, but they don't. Or is she feeding him Essence of Kraken Gonads or something that'll cause a nice belly a splosion?

I don't HAVE to use every element from every prompt. Most of the time I don't... That being said though:
Juliet sighed, her puffy face devoid of expression as she looked down into the bouillion flavored water and began beating the first egg while crackin' a second for Billups Quick Egg Soup.
Tee-hee. And it's not really about the technical aspects, kinda interested in the quality of the stories. Any feedback is always welcome...

I do like the first one, but I think I liked the second one even more. These two were the first exercises I've done since WriMo and I think they're much better than I'd been doing before. Just gotta keep it up...
