I'm Semi-Ignoring Politics Today

Happy Sequester Day (and that's all I have to say about that).

So I'm thirty-six-years-old now and will just put this year's birthday down as odd. I still haven't celebrated it properly, and it doesn't look like I will until sometime in March. I'm not disappointed, more befuddled by responsible adulthood once again.

No nasty ramifications from the ( Read more... )

Happy Birthday!

I'm trying to ignore politics as well as well as a certain topic that pisses me off due to lack of discipline and logic with it... In the end, people are going to keep preaching and jumping down each other's throats, especially on facebook and there's nothing you can really do to shut them up. just get away from it...

and shred diet? never heard of it o.O

Wanna borrow my mother for a couple of hours? You won't even have to talk to her; she won't give you a chance. *Sigh* Yeah, that was left over from Saturday's outing.

I meant to put up the website info: http://www.doctoriansmith.com/ and forgot. However having just spent 45 minutes to an hour getting food ready for work tomorrow (most time spent staring at the fridge in a "but I don't have that!" mode), don't start it when you're between food buying times. :p He wants you to consume lots of salads and fruits, stuff I don't keep on hand because they usually go bad before I eat all of them. Next week menu planning will be easier since I'll have money to buy groceries.

I'll probably be talking more about it on the "Hot Bod" posts at my blog, Intentionally Left Blank. I don't copy those here.

lol even if your mother is a pain in the ass... be grateful for her anyway. I grew up without a mother and I probably won't ever have one again. and my friend courtenay (a.k.a magic star) lost her mother to pancreatic cancer just two days ago and will be dealing with a funeral shortly...if not today. it really puts things into perspective that you don't know what it have until it's gone. i know i'm pretty lame for saying that, but i'm probably right, even in your case lol.

speaking of food i should probably go grocery shopping tomorrow and invest in some healthier foods that will last for awhile. and for some reason i have a bad craving for carbs too o.O must....resist.

I love my mother, but she doesn't have conversations, she lectures at worst and has oral diarrhea at best. And then she wonders why me and Dad always finish lunch before she does. We eat because she doesn't let us say ANYTHING. And it is usually the same topic for about two weeks. I'm so sick of hearing about some woman on a show I don't watch and wouldn't even know it is on because I'm at work when it airs losing weight on this diet but there's no changing the station of Mom's talk radio. She won't change, and I'm fine with that, but you brushed against my lingering annoyance from Saturday (i.e. the last bombard my brain with the same stuff I've heard from you for over a week on this diet AFTER you've given me the book on it for a birthday present).

Speaking of food: I don't know if I'm going to make the week without fruit and juice that are on the meal plan but I don't have in the pantry.
