So CVS had an awesome sale on Coke products (4 twelve pack cases for $10) along with a spend $30 on specially marked items and you'll get $10 CVS Cash to spend in the store. Mom leveraged this deal into a lot of Coke products. I saw that many things on my shopping list were some of their specially marked items, especially make-up, so I made it my ( Read more... )

If you do makeup lightly, it can still look like you and not clownish. that's my philosophy, anyway. Just hide the zits, pls. :D

Have fun with your house. It sounds like a lot of work, but it'll be fabulous when it's all done. :)

I'd say 60% of my insecurities deal with physical appearance. So that plus growing up a tomboy and a teenage nerd who was never going to gain any male's attention with a mother who has no idea how to teach anyone to be a girl (I think she thought I would just pick it up by watching her put on make-up when really I needed lessons) and lack of practice, all make it an easy target for that awful voice inside your head.

I can't wait to get started on my house. I've been waiting to tear apart the bathroom since I moved in. :D

I understand that. I never really learned how to do that, and I think I picked up more tricks from friends I made online that are knowledgable than anything else.It's a continual work in progress, but there's tutorials available online! That makes it easy to learn a few things. :)
