Politics in Louisiana; most times, it's best to do as you're told and not ask too many questions. Yesterday, Gov. Jindal says they'll close state offices Tuesday and Wednesday for sure and figure out where to go after the tropical storm/hurricane hits in one of his press conferences. However, we still were coming to work as if it was a normal day

If I were you I'd stay with someone if it gets bad... I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers :)

Thanks for the thoughts. My house was built for this and has lasted through worst. Besides, my parents are right next door and my uncle behind me.

And the electricity came back on, WOOT!

I hope all is well and not too much damage done to your property. Unless it turns out to be a massive travel storm and in that case I hope that Glitch can build a transdimentional internet connection for you. Take care.

No such luck for the travel storm. It turned into major flooding event. I'll have more details tomorrow when I post tomorrow.
