I've been sailing five days out of the last week. Something must be going right. Jared was my chief accomplice as we launched the boat Tuesday night. He made a comic strip out of it -- Page 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Holy caboozles! That is amazing indeed. I think Rafe and I biked past your house on Monday but we weren't sure which one it was.
I am not moving to Rochester after all, but I am being interviewed in Brooklyn this weekend. I think I will return on Sunday, and after that we should DO something in this wondrous fun town.

Oh, no AIDS ride, I nearly died just biking from downtown to Taughannock and back. But it was lovely.

I'm home in Virginia again, alas, but Rafe is around Ithaca still so you'll probably run into him at some point. I think I left Ithaca right at the peak of its autumn beauty, which makes me a little sad.

But, I have a question for you. I am thinking of going camping at Assateague this weekend! I have never done it but my friend Daniel is visiting from Seattle and wants to see the Sea. Can you recommend any particular place or things to bring/do while out there?
