it's been a good few days. On the walk to & from the grocery, i noticed the purples and blues of the ajuga and periwinkle, the yellow explosions of forsythia, the deep purple of redbud trees, and of course the daffodils everywhere. It's a good thing i enjoy walking everywhere, because it seems like that's what we'll all be doing in a few years

that guy's book on the coming energy crisis is a little apocalyptic, isn't it? i have visions of zombie hoards running through cities and eating everything in their path as buildings collapse around them...by the time i turn thirty five.
