Earth quake in Chile!!!!!!!1

Hi people , I haven't  written anything here for about 3 months . I was planning to cath up on march , but now it seems to be a good time to say that I'm fine , my family is fine and my parents house is fine. I still don't know if there are damages in my flat in Santiago. I still can't travel from Temuco (where I was at my parents house the ( Read more... )

I just arrived to my flat in Santiago and thankfully everything was ok (the tv and the computer didn't fall , yay!). Just papers on the floor and open drawers.
Now to go back to routine and classes. ^_^

Hello, again! The news reports are saying this was a super powerful earthquake; I'm relieved things aren't worse. It looks like Chile had good building standards in place. My heart goes out to the bereaved, the injured and the homeless. Hope the world shows lots of support now and in the future as the rebuilding begins! Also hope you will have plenty of water and power as the days go by.

Any idea how long before you can travel to check on your apartment?

I just arrived to my apartment...and the first thing I checked was the computer and the tv , lol. Everything was fine , thankfully , just papers on the floor and open drawers , and the refrigerator "walked" a little. Not broken pipes , that was my first concern ( ... )
