The fanfic
Kiss and Tell
by tigersilver has a scene in chapter 12 where Wolfram offers to be Yuuri's concubine.
But there's nothing about Yuuri's maou-side wanting Wolfram, and the offer is made due to a misunderstanding.
It does sound a lot like the fic you describe.

I think its Letters from Wolfram. After being hurt repeatedly Wolfram agrees to break off the engagement and remain as the maou's concubine.
