I think Yuuri's a pretty good figurehead! :D Eh heh heh. He gives the people something to believe in and work towards, but he still needs to work on things a bit. Gwendal takes care of a lot of things for him, and while he's always going to have advisers, once he grows more confident in himself, and his position (because even in this episode he thinks he's not fit to be king), then he'll be a good king. That's not to say he isn't now, but... he could be better.
:P You forget that Anissina is more liberal, too! All the women seem very liberal, while the men are just, like, "LOLno."
I don't think Wolfram was a bad choice. He probably would have been a pretty good king if he'd been allowed to continue. But I don't think he was the best choice either.
(SPOILER)I'm still angry Conrad didn't go be king of Big Cimaron. He would have been a good king, in my opinion. They kinda failed and just dropped that plot point, when it could have developed into something really, really
