I was questioning that as I was watching it the first time as well. Like, ummm...Lady Celi?? She can't see anything... she's sort of... blind... ^^; Ah well... Lady Celi isn't always the brightest, and I'm sure Julia's used to things like that anyway...
I love watching this episode now more than I did before, simply because I know everything now and it's nice to be able to look back and pick up on the foreshadowing that I may not have noticed as blatantly before. :D
I also wonder how many people were suspicious about Yuuri being Julia reincarnate. I sort of had a feeling he was, but it took some looking around online to find out if I was right or not. ^^; Of course, then I found out who the moon soul was, and after that I wasn't really surprised by anything any more, simply because it all seemed so predictable.
As for Conrad... I agree; having these looks into his past is nice. At first, he always seemed very plain and ordinary to me, so having these flashbacks to show that there's more to him than just a bland smile helps me appreciate his character a lot more.
The thing is, I don't know how many people would be truthful. I know I would, but then again I had my suspicions, I just needed some extra information to know for sure. It would be pretty neat to see what other people have to say about that, though.
I actually figured out the keys on my own, so it wasn't really spoiled for me. Well... I figured out Gwendal on my own, and then I figured that since both Gwendal and Conrad were, then Wolfram had to be, too. By the time I'd figured them out, I thought the fourth was pretty obvious... And I had a feeling the ending would be as it was, though there were a few bits and pieces that I expected less than others.
To be honest, Julia and Conrad's relationship has always been a bit questionable to me. It does seem like Conrad was in love with her, but I'm not too sure about Julia's feelings for him. I was always under the impression that she was in love with Adalbert, but it's interesting to think of the possibility of her being in love with two people at once. Oh, the drama!!
Conrad keeping the ducky was very precious. XD It seems Yuuri's way of making friends often has to do with giving something cute to someone. He gave Gwendal the Bandou-kun keychain, and now we see that he's previously given Conrad a rubber duck. :)
She definitely seemed like she loved Adalbert. I do think she could have easily fallen in love with Conrad, too. Maybe she did love them both. And as much as I love Adalbert to death, Conrad does seem like he'd be better suited to her, with the way they're both romantics about humans and mazoku living in peace, while Adalbert kept shooting her down about that. D:
I agree. She and Conrad seem like a better match, although the reason I like Julia paired with Adalbert is because they're different from one another. She was very kind and pure, while he's harsh and quick to anger. They just seem to fit together somehow. :D
I shouldn't be commenting 'cause you're a meanie face...
Celi... why the heck are you even asking for Julia's opinion on how the dress will look?? She's blind!! Jeez... Sure, maybe she'd like to feel the fabric or something, but she can't exactly see it...
Conrad... You used to be soooo cool... Not that you're... not cool now... But you were even more awesome back then. Angry/angsty/emo Conrad makes me giggle 'cause he's just too awesome.
And ah, the moon. Yes... That fits his character very well, doesn't it? I also love how closely the astrological sign of Leo fits with Yuuri. Sometimes I wonder if it's purposely done like that, or if it was just a happy mistake.

Well... you wouldn't let me go so I could work on my paper... which I just finished... Ain't I awesome?? :D
Celi's just... special... She can seem like a fairly intelligent woman one minute, and then a complete bimbo the very next. And Julia's probably had other people try and show her things before, so she's no doubt used to indulging them.
*drools* Wasn't Conrad just super awesome back then?? Sometimes I think this series would have been even better if instead of going to Earth, he'd done what he threatened to do and raised the soul on his own to seek vengeance on those who'd caused him pain. I can see it now... *zones out*
Er... anyway... I don't know if the astrological stuff was purposeful or not. Somehow I have a feeling it wasn't, but you never know...
I love the fact that we get to see life in Shin Makoku without Yuuri in this episode. Wolfram reading to Greta is just adorable.
I also agree with the fact that Conrad still has the ducky is full of win, as well as Yozak's reminder to him that some people would be sad if he died.

Julia and Conrad's relationship is so damned sweet and cute and sldkjslk. I do feel sort of bad about Adelbert, though.
Cheri deciding that Conrad is a great choice to pick out fabric, makes me giggle way too much. AS DOES THE FACT THAT CONRAD KEPT THE DUCKY. Eee. XD
