It happened quickly.
There was a flu--especially hard on half bloods--going around, and she had been giving him a full checkout, which would be followed by a vaccination.
Maybe it had just been an overload of teenage hormones, maybe it had been that embarrassing moment when he had walked in on Anissina and Gwendal sharing one, maybe it had been to convince himself he’d still stand on the same side of home plate after that even more embarrassing moment when he had walked in on Wolfram when he was-- the very thought would still be enough to bring a blush to Yuuri’s cheeks. Regardless of the reason though, it had still happened.
First she had been checking him for any signs of sickness. Then she had leaned to the side for something. Then their lips had been pressed together.
It had taken him until after she had quickly pulled back with a startled look, that he realized he had been the one to deliver the kiss.
His cheeks flared up, and he turned away from the still shocked, emerald eyes, muttering apologies. He soon found his face being gently guided back though and then soft lips on his own.
It happened a lot slower this time.
