She was young when she first manifested her maryokou, first truly realised her own strength.
When the Wincott family’s new daughter showed the signs of her powers, the people began speaking of the three Great Witches of their time: Anissina von Khrennikov, Julia von Wincott, and Cecillie von Spitzveg.
Later, when Anissina came to Convenant Castle for the first time, and met the Maou herself, she was disappointed beyond words. All that power-both natural and as a result of her status as Maou-and the woman only seemed to care about finding love.
She would not be the same.
