I'm imagining one of two things: a child who looks as easy-going as Anissina but is actually as dour as Gwendal - or someone who looks totally formal and stiff like Gwendal - but is actually a mad scientist on the inside. XD

Heh. And you know Anissina would've learnt from her mistakes and instilled all sorts of wisdom in her boy ('Never let loose with an evil laugh when you're only in the planning stage, Virgil. Your victim test subject will get suspicious.') XD

And now I must confess: the format came about because of my terrible case of Writer's Block - this fic originally started out as a 1000 word fic, then became a set of five 100 word drabbles, and finally ended up as this. :P

Whatever works to get past writer's block, right? I have a hard time writing to a specific word count, so I'm always impressed when other people do drabble sets.

she indeed found herself incapable of tearing herself away from an experiment once she had started-but a small hand tugging on her skirt and a cry of ‘Mama, come play with me!’ and she found that actually, it was quite easy to set work aside for a little while.
