It's the old saying - So many men, so little time. Don't worry Ken, fate always hands you the right hand to play.

It is, isn't it? You gotta wonder, though, what goes through his head when he says one thing and then does the other. I can't quite figure him out - though I like that very much in an anime/manga character, of course - so getting into his head is feat that perhaps I shouldn't have attempted...or at least, on such a profound subject as love.
Just....I don't think he's Yuuri's only, or simply Shinou's creature. I can see how he might want things that have been denied for a very long time and feel both petty and spiteful for wanting them, and 'acting out', influenced buy the boy-child's body he inhabits.
Well, anyway, thanks for reading it - sends cookies (good ones, not those store-bought monstrosities.)

You did a great job describing Murata's point of view, he's always such a misterious and reserved character that most of the times we don't know what is he thinking and feeling about, specially concerning his love life :)
and I liked the Yuuram hints too *.*

Thanks! I really enjoy Murata's bipolar flip-flops. He carries so many people inside him.

I enjoyed your writing style for this. There's a playful and quesioning tone, but yet you use rhetorical questions and therefore no answer is needed. I think that emphasizes Murata's "knowledge." Very goo job. I love the last line.

Thanks! I think you may give me more credit than I'm due - the style simply felt 'right' for this character and this subject. It kinda crept up on me, when I was trying to sneak into Murata's head. I kept thinking about how 'love' - and lust and friendship, desire and affection, all the flavors, heavy and light, of that particular emoton - was the driving force behind so much of the action in KKM. Why does any one of them do anything? Love, of course. Even Murata, who's been alternately showered with it, denied it, taunted with it and generally slapped around by it, is motivated by love for his King(s), Shinou and Yuuri, and love for his country. I think, after Sousho (sp?) he might want love for himself as well. And, of course, I may be completely wrong in that - ah, the fun of figuring out Murata :>

Oh, absolutely. Murata, of course, is an interstellar boy scout and is always prepared for the random orgy: condoms, oil, "Do Not Disturb" signs...etc.

Very, very interesting. I've read quite a few "let's-get-in-Ken's-head-and-see-what's-in-there" pieces, but I think I like this best. Not only because it was very easy to picture him thinking out these sorts of things, but because it was written out very much like a thought process. (Not quite stream of consciousness, but very nice all the same.) Good work. ^_^
