Thanks for reading, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was a little worried that Gwendal would come across as too self-destructive, so it's good to know my characterization works. :3
Ooh, I really like this. While I do enjoy all the crack of KKM, I must admit I prefer the more serious drama-y bits. =)
And that you filled in something 'behind the scenes' is even better. I love your dialogue, and your characterisations; everything is spot on. And I loved your usage of the prompts. ♥
So is this part of your Gwendal x Anyone series back from the Super Challenge round? I haven't forgotten, you know. I quite enjoyed them and am looking forward to more... *hopeful smile*
The way this series balances crack and drama is one of the things that makes it so awesome. I love writing 'missing scene' fics. They're good for character study and the plot bunnies can't get epic on me because I know what happens next.
This isn't the Yozak fic for the epic challenge, that bunny is still gnawing on my brain, as are the Cheri and Wolfram ideas I had back then. The Shori fic I posted for the 'sleep' prompt was part of that set as well.

*nods* Agreed. You're laughing in the beginning of the episode, but by the end you're suddenly gasping in disbelief and shouting at the screen. Really don't know how the writers manage it. :P
Ooh, so I can look forward to more! Great. =) *anticipates*
Awwwwww! I love this!!! Their interaction is great. The idea of Yozak "auditioning" for the maid mission is hilarious, and the last line is beyond perfect - Gwendal really does ignore his own safety on a regular basis, and it's so nice when someone calls him on it. I'm definitely a sucker for the serious side of KKM, so this rocks. Thanks for sharing!!

I had some trouble with the dialogue towards the end, so I'm really happy it feels in character to you.
