I am picturing "jeans so tight I could count how many barrels were in his gun" - shades of Mickey Spillane and all other mystery writers. This was just an immensely fun read. Looking forward to the next episode.

Thanks so much. Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen this style in KKM fandom yet. I've modelled it after a parody of hardboiled crime fiction. It was rather challenging to get the details all correct since I grew up in Nevada and there are words that we use that are not used in the Midwest or in New England and wouldn't be words Yuri Noir would use.

You had a lot of great one liners in this piece. And I'm amused that you took Yuuri's pop culture references (he does this a lot in the manga, supposedly) with his apparently like for detective stuff.

Another thing I noted was you wrote in a very classic detective style in your description. I'm very impressed :)
