Anissina sighed. Lady Flynn had just retired to her chambers after a most interesting conversation about Caloria. The lady had told her the country forbade female rulers, which was why she had had to pose as her own husband.
Lady Flynn had smiled as she’d told her that after she had been unmasked, the people of Caloria had demanded she remain their ruler, seeing how well she had been leading them so far.
And in Shin Makoku, their first female Maou had let herself be manipulated because she thought she wasn’t smart enough…
And Gunter called the human countries backward.
