There was a clatter of hooves, and he looked up as the strange sheep from Caloria skidded into the stables.
The sheep only bleated pathetically before burrowing into the pile of hay in a corner. He frowned, moving to pull it out, when he jumped at the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps.
‘Dakaskos! Have you seen the Maou’s sheep anywhere? I must learn how it manages to become airborne.’
‘He ran past me that way, Lady Anissina.’
It was only once her footsteps had faded away that T-Zhou emerged, and the look in his eyes seemed to say: My hero!
