Gwendal threw his cousin an irritated look before turning away to his studies again. ‘I am,’ he said shortly. ‘I do change Conrart’s nappies when there is a need for it.’
‘But…that’s…women’s work!’ Huber said, an appalled look on his face.
‘Work is just work,’ Anissina snapped angrily. ‘Thinking like yours is the reason why the women of Shin Makoku are still-’
She would have continued, but Gwendal cut her off.
‘Someday, you’ll end up changing a nappy with your own two hands, and then I’ll remember this conversation, and laugh and laugh and laugh.’
