Aw I've just watched the episode then read this summary, I was so wondering what Wolfram said to Yuuri while Yuuri was Maou-ised. I'm so happy it ends all happy!

Yeah, when Wolfram told him "Yuuri, become a good king" Yuuri took over the Maou and stopped the attack.
That's why Wolfram didn't die^^
