There was someone floating outside her apartment window. She would assume dangling from a high tensile wire, but none of the locals wore white spandex, wide-cuffed blue boots and red capes.
"It didn't take her long to tell everyone," Selina snarled in the general direction of the cape, before remembering to keep her voice down.
A blond head poked underneath the pane. "Um, hi. She didn't tell everyone."
"It doesn't matter. You people are like the internet," Selina hissed softly as possible, to avoid waking her daughter. "So what's your excuse?"
Power Girl chewed on her lip. "It's a long story. I mean, a really long story."
"Fine." Selina crossed her arms. The bright and cheerful types invariably babbled away too much information. She held her breath and counted to ten. There was nothing she could do about a super-powered JSA member.
Power Girl dropped to the floor, sidling over to the crib. "Did you really name her Helena?"
This was the second person who seemed surprised by the name choice, counting Slam. "Yes. Now do me a favor and stop advertising my home address. You're putting her in danger."
Power Girl looked up, an uneasy tension to her eyes, "Not so long as I'm around."
