Regulate My Consumerism

Should I or shouldn't I? Condo mango trees. I love and adore mangoes. The only thing better would be a lobster tree. Easily kept as potted balcony plants, when pruned and espaliered. But, $25 each, and must be ordered in pairs + shipping.

if you love mangoes-go for it.

If they live for a long time and have a long fruit season, it's a good investment if you eat a lot of mangoes.

I usually buy them by the box and eat those pretty swiftly. It's a good thing the season isn't too long or else I'd be one of those people who gets the food poisoning possible with this fruit. The tree generally lives a minimum of 30 years, more like 50, and some species live to several hundred; it's one of the longest lived fruit trees.

The only thing better than eating a mango that I can think of is eating a mango that you have grown yourself.
