I think I'm falling in love with this lol. I love Jinki and Minho as Jonghyun's closest friends. I love Kibum's snarky, witty, attractive demeanor. And Taebaby's cutie patootie self. Jonghyun is funny because he knows himself but he kinda doesn't and it's great to watch him fall in love (or think he's falling in love). I really, really adore his friendship with Jinki and Minho though. They're teasing, but obviously supportive of him and it's so great. Now that the recording is over I guess Jongkey will have the chance to really court each other? I'm very interested to see how it all turns out.

Thank you! Yeah, I sort of wanted to highlight how Jonghyun is such a multi-faceted person? He isn't nearly as deep as he is in real life or anything, but he's still quite self-aware but at the same time, doesn't really know what to make of himself. Also, I'm glad you like Jinki and Minho; they're such fun to write. Now that the song recording's over, I guess we'll see what happens, haha.

I'm really excited for part 2. I stayed up into the am reading this yesterday. Not the best decision I've ever made but it was worth it.

I love this! I love love it, how you've written each character, how stylistically intricate everything is and especially because you have me laughing at how accurate Minho's remarks are to his personality. The plot is very refreshing and I like where it is headed. Thankyou for posting!

There were a number of things I wanted to capture in this story, and Jonghyun and Minho's on-off love-hate bromance was definitely one of them. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed reading those portions as much as I did writing them. Also, thank you for calling the plot refreshing even though it's being posted way beyond the time the story itself is set in! Thank you for commenting and reading all the way through!

oh wow, this is probably instantly one of my favorite fics.
your writing is amusing and fun without losing its quality and realism. everything flowed so nicely, and i couldn't help but totally fall for all of your characters. despite the fact that minho and jinki didn't have that many parts i felt like they were so in character with how they are irl. the way you describe things is really unique but entirely accurate (i loved the bit wtih the ceo lol). the interactions between jonghyun and kibum were really precious and natural. the way you described kibum ;; it was so perfect i feel like i need to already read this again. i could truly picture each and every one of his facial expressions with ease. really you're so talented! i think i remember reading your fics on your older account, and your high quality writing still remains <3

wow, this is a huge compliment, especially coming from you. it's no secret that i love your work (i literally just read right number and am off to comment in a bit).

i'm really glad you read through this and enjoyed it! i've been trying to find the right tone to use when writing these kinds of fics, and it's great knowing others like it so far! characterization is a big deal for me, so i'm glad you found jinki and minho accurate. thank you so much for all the kind words! i'll try not to take too long with part two x
