I'm hiding in the kitchen. Our house looks like the TV show Hoarders. We had hardwood floors put in two weeks ago. Today, the guys are here ripping up all the carpet upstairs and laying tile in our workout room and laundry room. I started packing up the house in February to do the floors. Oh, I really enjoyed this, Nate did so well! Mac goes to Rock Camp here too but it's only for a week, five days for two hours and costs four hundred dollars. I wish they had a longer one that didn't cost so much for so little time. He's got an application in to go to something similar that Nate does, going to the high school to play with the band; however here it's so freaking lame that three of the potential four high schools offering this (which includes a grade nine credit earned in grade eight) have cancelled due to lack of enrollment. With only one high school now offering it and sixty seven kids wanting in and Mac being out of catchment for the only school left offering it, his chances are slim. We find out in Sept. I shouldn't really be surprised, our schools are awful. Plus, of course our lame school gave the children the registration forms late so they went in three days after the deadline through no fault of their own. He was accepted to the one he originally applied to before it was cancelled. Well, they want prior ( ... )
