Hello again from land of...snow? Yeah, four inches of the stuff fell last night. Not much by most folks standard, but it has finally made me concede that I can no longer say it doesn't snow here. We're in for a week of cold weather by our standards - average winter temp here is 45 degrees so a week of sub-freezing is, well, freezing ( Read more... )

My poor laptop! At least it wasn't my fault!

I saw the pictures of snow in Vegas! What a bizarre year. We got dumped on yesterday and the kids are thrilled - break started three days early. I'm just glad Santa does not use the roads to get around!

Happy holidays!

You lost your writing?!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOO. I hope you have hard copies of your bankrupt princess story. I'm sure I have copies of your stories from class/WG with my comments embedded in them somewhere on my hard drive that I can forward you. If you want any music I have I can upload to megaupload and share because ... *raises fists at iTunes*

You know, losing some of those old stories might not be a bad thing...

I will happily rage against iTunes with you! Down with Apple! :)

Funny, that's what I've been thinking about pretty much everything I've ever written. *hovers over the TRASH button*

Howdy and Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry to hear about your laptop and jealous of your snow. Jonathan's aunt got Andrew a toddler snow shovel and I've been dying to try it out- but not for Andrew to try it out. He nearly decapitated his 3 yr old cousin with it in the first 2 minutes he had it.

Shovel in the hands of an over excited 4 yr old=Weapon of doom.

Keep warm and hopefully you will have a fixed computer in no time. :-D

Happy Holidays! The snow is now up to 11 inches and we're supposed to get more tomorrow night. Of course, by Christmas Eve, it's supposed to be rainy again and all gone by Christmas Day. Ah well. But, the new laptop is on its way. Yay!

Beware of flying shovels!

OH no! I hate when computers die, especially when they take the 'memories' with them. It sucks. It looks like you guys have our snow and we want it back. Okay, I want it back, most people say you can have it. Mother Nature is having her way with you, heee! See, you shouldn't have teed her off last summer with that rant. I think she was really miffed and may have said something like 'I'll get you and your little ... hermit crabs too!' Then she laughed like the wicked witch of the West and asked that you get a dog so she can stick to her proper lines.
I wish you peace and happiness now and in the new year. Did you guys dress of for Thanksgiving this year? I think you did last year ... anyway, big hugs from the notsowhitenorth.

I swear, no laptop at my disposal is making me positively twitchy! I have to walk a whole twenty extra steps to get my email from the office. The horrors! :)

You know, I hadn't thought that this could be a cruel revenge tactic from the woman in charge of all things green. How sneaky! How coniving! How patient she is to wait all this time and then go, "HA!" You sort of have to respect that, don't you?

No costumes this year but we did think about it - then we looked at last years' pictures and thought, "That's so last year!" :)
