Due to a recent oil leak in the engine of our car we have updated.
We've moved all the way up to a 2005 Chevy Impala which we've decided to name it the swahili name for Impala, though i can't quite remember what that is right now.
It's blue, it has a cd player, the radio doesn't die on it and most importantly it doesn't leak oil.

In an effort to keep our music collection somewhat fresh Andrea and I have decided that we must purchase new cd’s for each other. So on Birthday’s, Christmas, Easter, etc… we must give each other at least one new cd. This has inspired a sort of boom lately where we have gotten a lot of music. at this time of year the trees in the cemetery are filled with squirrels who run around doing what ever it is that squirrels do. A few days ago during a funeral they were running through the overhead trees. Apparently they arn't always sure footed, one missed its branch and went plummeting down, squarely on the casket. I came to the sad realization the other day that my 60 year old boss leads a far more exciting life than i do. he is constantly doing things and getting drunk and other such "exciting" things while i spend a large part of my time sitting in my small apartment reading. How is a 60 year old man more active than me?

With fathers day coming up Andrea and I were looking at things to give her father. This led to some gift philosophy questions. I am of the strong belief that a fathers day gift is kind of like tipping. If you're father did a shitty job he gets a shitty present. While at my parents my mother told us that she had found a dead mouse inside her toaster one morning, which was fine because she just threw the whole toaster out,

it wasn't so fine because she only realized after she had eaten the slice of toast that she had just made in the mouse infested toaster.....
