Ohh, thank you! I do try to work hard on the dialogue and make it sound realistic. I hate it when characters speak perfectly, as though they're reading a script. :)

I like how this has begun! It's different from a lot of the other Marauders-era R/S fics that are around; I like how you've characterized the boys and their friendship, and the mention of Sirius's family. I'm really looking forward to reading more!

As far as their book - I have an idea in my head of what they're reading, but it's never really said. An old book, with swords and running away from the law (appropriate for Sirius, considering his future as a fugitive).
