Oh, What a Night

Big thunderstorms came through last night with lots of wind. I woke up around 1:00 to see my clock flashing so I reset it. I woke up a little while later to no electricity. Yay for saving the Ben & Jerrys!!! This is what I hate about spring, the bad storms. I hate them. Having lived through a tornado hitting our trailer (yes, folks, I grew up in a trailer park! Says a lot about me, no?)...I can do without any kind of storm, thankyouverymuch.

Too bad the electricity isn't at where you work!! But if your boss is like mine, he'd make you come in anyway.

I hope it's back on by the time you get home.

Luckily, there weren't any tornadoes, just winds strong enough to uproot some big trees. But it is about time for tornado season to officially start, isn't it? And they only got a trace of rain in Dallas, so nobody else at the office had to get ready in the dark this morning. Oh, well. At least I can get to the Internet here.

I hope your power is on when you get home. That sucks. What did we do before cell phone alarms??? It's been rainy here all day, but no storms yet.
