I spent Sunday curled around my belly and feeling generally crappy. Didn’t make it into work. After sleeping all day, I couldn't get to sleep that night til after 3am; thus I didn't get much sleep before 8am, when I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep. (Third damn day in a row; woke up at 6am both Saturday & Sunday & couldn’t sleep again.)

I have some slightly optimistic news from the Circlet office for you: we paid all authors their royalties pretty much on time this year! So for the moment we are not behind paying anyone for the first time in... years.
I've been really drowsy and weird for seemingly no reason since Saturday. I've been sleeping great at night because corwin's not here, but it's like my whole system is still in recovery from the flea or something. I keep feeling like I'm coming down with something. AGAIN. ugh. But this damn novel is due on Monday so I guess I better get back to writing it instead of screwing around on LJ eh? Oh man I want a nap though. Ugh.

Meanwhile, I am supposed to have a "home sleep test" on Monday next, wherein I hook up a sort of Leela-style device to one arm, sleep with that, and then return it to them at the godawful hour of 7am, only to have to drive in to a 12:30 in-person examination of the results.
This one's just listening for noises, watching pulse and bp and oxygenation. Which should provide them with useful info of some sort.
Unfortunately it means I have to wake up at a godly hour.
In other news, haven't actually done much with trying to circular-breathe for the "didgeridoo" technique for improving back-of-throat tone.

I'm also sorry there's no magic bullet for your sleep disorders, but at least you seem to have someone on the case who's interested in getting to the root of the problem.
I hope tomorrow is a better day.

But since neither is within the range for an official diagnosis of either, I don't have them.
This puzzles me - if they are IN evidence, can't you at least be consider to have a mild version of the diagnosis? Grr. I hope the next sleep study provides data that helps this doc craft a lasting, helpful solution. No REM is no good. *hugs*
Hang in there, babe. I know it's hard and I'm sorry I'm a bit further out from being there to actively help in person. I love you. I'll keep sending good wishes for healthy, restful sleep and better days.
