I did a lot of camping as a child and have started again in the last few years. I like to pride myself in being able to put up most tent on my own ( Read more... )

Got grassed off by a 6 year old but he was still too busy laughing at me to notice. He hasn't seen it yet though - haha!! How was Spain??

Barcelona was great....walked for miles took 340 pics! :-s....hope you enjoyed summer darkness....utrecht a lovely place....hope i get nxt year! ;-)

After having camped almost every year as a child I swore never ever to set foot in one again :-)
Although I must admit I still have a small one that I can take with me on hikes, just in case I need a shelter ;-)

Hm. I seem to always have rain while camping and end up with a damp sleeping bag and damp clothes. And painful joints. :-)

ha! last summer when i went across the u.s. with my beautiful, trouble-making triumph, i did the tenting thing. like you, i'd done a lot of camping as a child, and not much since then. i was really proud of myself. i'm thinking of putting camping gear (small enough of course to carry on the back of my beautiful darlin', should it ever be legal here in this damn country) on my wish list for my family to buy me over the next year. yay tenting!

I did the camping with a bike for years but the lack of a bike has stopped that at present:-((
Still got all the gear and perhaps I should put the bike on my wish list for next year!! I can emagine that Scooby would score that one out with a fairly large black marker though. You make me jealous with your bike - that is if you ever get it!!!

There was a film like that with a car instead of bikes - did not end in disaster with a cliff edge???
