I chose Frutescent. It means having or approaching the habit or appearance of a shrub. Whose hair does that remind you of?

Us sshg writers are going to have an entire arsenal of new words. No longer 'his cruel diatribe about her bushy hair made her eyes quiver with tears.'

Now, 'His sevidical diatribe concerning her frutescent hair brought tears to her luminescent eyes.'

I love it.

Thank you. I've adopted a word.

And am taking two others home with me.

That was awesome.

Your welcome!

I'm considering adopting five total. If the hubby allows. *grin*

I read/heard somewhere that the average person only uses something like 15% of all of the English words. That always makes me sad. The site really is wonderful.

When I saw it, I totally flipped! She had to know, right? I mean, it's perfect.

Will definitely be adopting this word right into fanfic.

Sevidical Severus. LOL!

I adopted "senticous." Which ironically isn't on dictionary.com.

It means prickly or thorny. Jeez, we SS/HG shippers sure are picking words that fit our favorite pair!

Yes, yes we are. Subconsciously (or even consciously!) attracted to anything that reminds us of our dear Potions master!

I couldn't find my words (I now have 3) on dictionary.com either. Sad, how these lovely words are dying.
