Of interst to me today is the ongoing media argument over what can cut down the mass binge drinking culture in the UK. Today's arguments ranged from whether a continental approach should be had or whether we should do away with the club culture and move towards a more traditional ye olde pub idea ( Read more... )

With all the "nannying" that the powers-that-be are trying to load on us, i wonder how long it'll be before we're fitted with some kind of bio-chip that will record what we do with/take into our bodies.

In this case will bars/shops be able to read them & deny us service because we've reached our weekly recommended limit?

I honestly think this will be the case in the not too distant future.

But personally, i'm happy enough with being given the information about what we eat/drink, and making the decision myself. And as long as it affects no-one else, i can't think why things should be taken any further.
