Okay, everybody go look at this clip. Don't worry, it's not very long. Now, see the lanky skinny boy in green with "128" stuck on his back? That's my nephew (my cousin's son) who's only turning thirteen this year

Oh, wow, they're so professional looking. I have to keep comparing them to the taller people in the room to remember that they're not adult competitors. ^__^;;

I know right?! Even some of the other teams are pretty good. Like the shorter pair that appear on the edges of the clip are pretty good. I suspect they're younger? I think these competitions might be sorted by age groups.

The funny thing is that when we saw my nephew yesterday he was wearing glasses and home-casual clothes, so when his parents put on the tape we all blinked, and all the adults started going "so is he wearing contacts or something". It was pretty funny. XD (Oh, and by adults I mean my parents' generation.)

Your nephew is good. I'm impressed. I spent most of my college life hanging around the dancesport people, so I've watched a few dance showcases in my time. Your nephew has the right attitude. Good, confident bearing, and sharp, clean movements. *claps*

Lots of potential. He'll be a knockout when he hits the adult competitive circuit. :D
