Foodie Pen Pal

Soo, I got my foodie pen pal today. I just have to think of what to send to her since I have no idea. She's a vegetarian, doesn't like cilantro and fennel, no food allergies and likes sweet & savory. So, I'll just have to do some research since I have until the 15th to send it out. I was thinking of sending her some Japanese candy and doing a theme

My friend is doing this and she loves it. :) You could also try making your own stuff. If you have a Trader Joe's around, they probably have a bunch of really god vegetarian snacks. I was thinking of those Japanese rice crackers -- those probably would be a good treat.

Ah sweet! I'm still nervous because I have zero idea what to get her. She seems nice and this is both our first time doing this so I want to make it extra special. I think we do have a Trader's Joe in Rhode Island somewhere. Thank you for the tip!

Sounds interesting....but I've been burned on LJ communities where you send stuff through the mail so I'm hesitant but....yeah...I am intrigued! keep me apprised! Super interesting!
