Ah, Baltar multitasking and having two different conversations at once. *feels nostalgic* Poor Brother Adrian. There is just no competing with Six as a missionary. Your Baltar voice is excellent, and captures him in s3 exactly.

Can't you tell I'm in terrible Gaius Baltar withdrawal? :D

Thanks for the feedback. I fear my religiosity can be a bit on the sketchy side, but I really enjoy writing the trials and tribulations of Mr Baltar.

So I noticed after I commented on your other Gaius fic that it was no. 2, so I went looking for no. 1. This was a fun read.

This is a good look at the snarky!bitter!prison!Gaius of Season 3 and his jailhouse angel, Head!Six. You have her voice down well, as of course his. Brother Adrian's watery eyes alighting with hope seemed like shooting fish in a barrel for Baltar! Reading this fic now, it's an interesting to think how incredibly mind-numbingly irritating he must have found his acolytes most of the time. They were naive and trusting in the word of God as Brother Adrian here.

The last line is just perfect. I feel like if we've gotten to see the scene for five seconds longer, it would have ended with Gaius then walking away, rolling his eyes as Adrian processed everything. :D

Yes, Brother Adrian was almost too easy for Baltar. *g* I wanted this fic to be a foreshadowing of things to come. Head Six dropped a lot of hints to a frantic and mostly confused Baltar throughout the series, and, in my mind, this was the first of the evangelical hints. Well, I hope it was, my canon is never all that good for those little things.

So glad you liked it!
