Top Ten Books of 2016

It's that time of year again :-) I know we still have three days left of the year, but I'm going to call it now.

I haven't been quite as lucky with my book picks this year, for some strange reason, so the 5-star books (non-rereads anyway) have been sparser than usual, and there's been no one book that has blown me away.... which actually made it ( Read more... )

Re: Zombies. Did you see the movie Warm Bodies? I usually give anything remotely zombie-related a wide berth, but I watched this one, and it was really lovely, and not the least bit scary (to me, in any case.) I was really pleasantly surprised, and thought you might like to add it to your list. :) It's on Netflix.

Great list! I highly enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10 and can't comment on the Book of Life yet because I'm only on the second one, but loving that one as well. Two of my top ten books for this year would be You by Caroline Kepnes (a thriller I highly recommend!) and A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. It's the second book of a fantasy series and is probably my #1 book of the year.
