Yesterday was a really sad day.....

LeRoi Moore, the saxophone player for my most favoritest band in the world (Dave Matthews Band in case you lived under a rock) passed away suddenly. They say it was due to complications from an ATV accident in June. He had a broken rib and a punctured lung. Sorry, but this isn't 1817.....aren't those things NOT ( Read more... )

I heard about that this morning and thought of you. I hope they don't cancel the benefit for the ALA. Nobody raises money for lung cancer because there are very few survivors.

I doubt they will cancel it. After all it's for charity. Also , LeRoi passed away on Tuesday, but DMB still played their show Tuesday night. Supposedly Dave made a speech and he said that LeRoi would have wanted it that way. I just don't know what they are going to do when their tour is over and Coffin goes back to the Flecktones.
