Midsummer is coming up rather quickly. It snuck up on me really quickly actually.

Anywho I was wondering what everyone's doing to celebrate the sabbat?

Is there anything special you normally do to celebrate it? Any traditions you wouldn't mind sharing? Or are you going to do something totally new this year?

I do not celebrate it as a sabbat, but as one of the high days in my NeoPagan Druidry tradition. I will be hiking into the Black Hills of South Dakota and making offerings in accordance with the ADF core order of ritual.

Hmm perhaps I should've just said "day" instead of "sabbat".

I didn't know you practiced Druidry. That's awesome! I myself am beginning to look into Druidry a bit.

I have been involved with ADF for about 10 years. Before that I practiced Asatru and Classical Polytheism. A thing that often makes me feel like I do not fit in in Pagan circles is that I have never practiced Wicca.

Yea, probably about 99% of the people I've met in the Pagan community came here by Wicca and/or are currently practicing it. I know that's how I came to Paganism and Wicca is something I still draw heavily on though I infuse my practice with a bit of Native American spirituality and as I said am currently looking into Druidry a bit myself. I want to add some Druidic practices to mine as what I've read about the Druids seems to fit really well with what I believe and think.
