This year for Christmas I planned a trip to Croatia. Somehow that trip morphed into: Croatia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Serbia (Belgrade for New Year's Eve!), and Romania.

Have you been to any of these places? Anything you'd say "awesome! must to check out...." or "meh, overrated, skip it..."

And now for my coldest winter yet.

I really recommend going to tripadvisor and reading some of the stuff there. And from what I hear you need to go to the light houses. And Hungary in winter last year wasn't so bad. You seem to get used to the cold.

Not sure how great the Croatian coast will be in winter, but that's where I would head. I am envious! Have a fantastic time! When do you get back?
