I don't know why it surprises me every time I realize that I don't matter.

Edit: I feel like I should clarify. This isn't aimed at any one thing. Just a series of things that have lead me to the conclusion above. I should not be alone and allowed to do serious thinking on a Saturday night.

I almost got sent home for not wearing my uniform. I was told to go home and change, or go home and take a day without pay. I was told by my lead, not by a manager.
