I didn't like the first HG movie very much, it was SO boring in parts. Maybe I was having a bad day, but I almost walked out on that movie. The first book is better. There is more intrigue, like why they saw that hovercraft in the beginning of the movie. But I don't really like love the way YA love triangles are handled. So I didn't read the other 2 books. From what I understand, Katniss changes a lot in those book, she steps back and it is not as interesting. The first book is the best.

Do you have a Good Reads profile?

Really? I liked it. The book explains sooooooo much more tho. Definitely love the book more.

Yeah the love triangle is a bit meh. Finished the second book, not as good as the first. But still enjoyable. Started on the third so far it's a bit bland.

Nope. Oooooo that site looks good. I'll have to make one.

Nothing like the smell of a new book. =)
E-books just don't feel like books.

You know I swore, swore, and swore I would not switch to e-books. Cause I love my library and holding a book SO MUCH! But I did end up getting a Kindle (the basic one) and it is really useful to get TONS of free books, I can also preview books then go buy the actual book or get it from the library. I think the #1 best thing about e-readers is that all your books are right there. Unfortunately when I need to find a particular book... it happens to be completely missing in the mass of all the other books I have. I think I'm in a happy medium now, I use it as a tool but not a crutch. Books are just better if you want to say, only read the good parts or find something. It is impossible to find shit on an e-book. I mean you have a search tool that works a lot like control + F but it isn't that great. Hmmph!

Yeah gotta admit there are some FANTASTIC free e-books around.

lol Yes! I download previews of books then decide if I like it or not. If I like it then I'll go & buy it. Some are cheaper too. Just find I get headaches some days with the glare.

Have to admit that it's handy when I'm not home to have all my books with me. Easier to store them all too lol.
