Today I was walked into one of my classes with a 3rd year (grade 9) on my arm. I think if I hadn't been holding books he would have tried to get me to take his arm instead XD They try so hard to be gentlemanly. Such little dears! :D

Just how old is a 3rd year? And I get giggles on how the 'serious' sports all support team work and looking like a mass of, um, idiots. As to not understanding teens afterwards, I'm not sure I understood them while I was one. Not to mention, I think teens suffer from temporary bouts of insanity... It is good to hear though that you get to cook for yourself and have a little extra time to yourself.
Oops, added a note for that. My middle-school third years are grade nines by Canadian reckoning. They take Sport Day so seriously but that is exactly what it is! Just a bunch of kids playing stupid games and looking silly/having fun (aside from the ceremonial parts).
You know, I'm not entirely sure I did either. As a teen, if you'd asked me why I was doing what I was doing, more than half the time I probably couldn't have given you a straight answer. Let alone asking me why other were doing things. Ah, teenagers. Little adults swamped by hormones.
I love time to myself but I'm not sure where it goes! I think I may just be a slower paced person. It seems I need at least 2-3 times as much time to prepare for things and to be alone as my dear neighbor and my other more active friends. And let's not talk about sudden changes to my schedule ^-^;
