In not so fun news, Jasper probably has herpes. He's been getting sick over and over again during the past few months, and I've had to take him to the vet three times. Even worse, he most likely caught it from Captain Henry! I got Henry (whose right eye was removed due to a bad herpes infection) when Jasper was still a kitten, and herpes is spread

I know! Poor little guy. He is feeling better---although the prospect of forcing him to eat Lysine paste for the rest of his life isn't too exciting! He hates it. :(

oh no!! poor little jasper. could you put the paste in with some wet food or something? he might even look forward to it if the taste of the cat food overpowers the Lysine.

I think we might try that if he doesn't start getting used to it. The vet recommended mixing it in with some wet food too. He was sleeping like that! I had to take a picture. :)
