There's plastic in the DVDs. Use netflix watch-it-now, or otherwise download using the invisible internets?

Yeah, but I just had sushi delivered in a styrofoam container, in a plastic bag, with plastic utensils wrapped in plastic, and plastic fake grass set up in between my sections of sushi. The most earth-conscious thing I've done today was to nag you about using returnable plastic DVDs.

I think if you plan to return it, you really haven't brought it to your house to stay, and you're not sending it out to a landfill-- it's sort of a permanent product that is only visiting. I think you're safe.

Both require transport to alternate location for viewing, so they'd likely be about the same.
