Maybe I'm just making assumptions, but is it harsh that the only part of Woodward Ave. that the bus does not stop at from downtown Detroit to Pontiac is the portion of the road that cuts through Bloomfield Hills?

no, you are exactly correct. we've been trying to get the bus to stop there for the last two years. it really is the city that is blocking the bus lines for making a stop.

ugh... I thought this all seemed rather suspicious. We need to get this taken care of, you'll have to fill me in on what's been going down.

yeah wouldn't want them ruining their nice neighborhoods! ugh. It's crazy too because there are homes for elderly people on that strip as well, public transit would I'm sure benefit them as well.

Unfortunately there are rich people everywhere, climbing higher to the top as they push other people down. I'll admit media makes Detroit, and well, Michigan as a whole seem like this dark hole of hopelessness.

That made me cringe too. It's not the only city the bus doesn't stop it. Livonia fights to keep bus stops out too. We are so segregated here and many cities want to keep it that way. It's beyond fucked up.
